Jonathan Hirschfeld
Jonathan Hirschfeld (b. 1979) is an Israeli painter, writer, journalist, and curator. He studied at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem (2004), and holds an MFA from the interdisciplinary program at Tel Aviv University (2011). His works engage in a conceptual and visual dialogue with mythologies and early Israeli modernist traditions. He co-founded Hanina Gallery with Yakir Segev (Tel Aviv, 2008), and he conducts public lectures on art history.
