Tamar Getter

Tamar Getter (b. 1953) is a prominent contemporary artist associated with the groundbreaking generation of 1970s artists in Israel. Her work consistently integrates wounded human bodies with tensions between imperfection and idealized forms. The works included in GOP are part of her 2002 series NOTES ON FAMILY KNOT. Throughout her career, Getter has exhibited extensively, with over 50 solo shows in Israel and internationally.
