Shmuel Bonneh
Shmuel Bonneh (1930 – 1999) was born in Poland and immigrated to Palestine with his family in 1936. Influenced by post-impressionist painting, his early works encompassed portraits and still lifes. In the 1970s, Judaism and Biblical themes began to appear in his work. Bonneh exhibited internationally, showcasing his art at the Venice Biennale (1958, 1960), the first International Biennale of Young Artists in Paris (1959), and various exhibitions in Germany and Paris, including "Ecole de Paris", Charpentier National Gallery (1963).
