Pesach Slabosky
Pesach Slabosky (1947–2019) was an artist, writer, and musician. Born in Detroit, he studied art at Columbia University and the Brooklyn Museum Art School (NYC). His works are characterized by distinctive brushstrokes, layered materiality, and for the use of objects as surfaces for his paintings. In addition, he wrote about art, curated, and lectured at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem. His works have been exhibited in numerous institutions, including the Israel Museum and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and are included in both private and public collections.
