Osias Hofstätter
Osias Hofstätter (1905-1994), born in Galicia (now Poland), was a prominent painter who created throughout most of his adult life, which involved charged experiences of refuge, exile, and loss. His works primarily depicted figures, animals, and hybrid creatures with an expressive approach and a distinctive signature.
