Moshe Kupferman
Moshe Kupferman (1926-2003) was an Israeli painter known for his abstract work and distinctive signature, that also considered the back of the paper as another chapter, test, a contradiction, or a completely new work. His layered works are characterized by the tension between visibility and concealment.
Kupferman’s works are included in prestigious collections such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art (NYC). He showcased numerous solo exhibitions in renowned institutions, such as The Israel Museum, Stedelijk Museum and Centre Pompidou.
