Moshe Kupferman

Moshe Kupferman (1926-2003) was an Israeli painter known for his abstract work and distinctive signature, that also considered the back of the paper as another chapter, test, a contradiction, or a completely new work. His layered works are characterized by the tension between visibility and concealment. Kupferman’s works are included in prestigious collections such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art (NYC).
