Maya Attoun
Maya Attoun (1974–2022) was a prominent multidisciplinary, research-based artist focusing on drawing, printmaking, and installation. Her extensive body of work reflected on the intersections of myth, narrative, and science, integrating recurring themes and dialogues with Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, knot theory, science fiction, and Neo-Gothic aesthetics. She received a variety of awards and recognitions, and her works are included in private and public collections, including The Israel Museum, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and Magasin III Museum in Stockholm.
