Jan Tichy

Jan Tichy (b. 1974, CZ) is a Chicago-based artist and educator working with video, installation, architecture, and photography. His research-based work is known to be socially and politically engaged (see ‘About the Artist’). Tichy earned his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he is now an Associate Professor. He held solo exhibitions in institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and his works are included in prominent collections, including the MoMA and the Israel Museum.
