Drora Dominey

Drora Dominey (b. 1950) is a multidisciplinary artist and lecturer at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Raised in Kibbutz Merhavia, she studied art in Milwaukee, Cheltenham, and earned her MFA from Central Saint Martins, London. Since the early 1980s, she is known to be one of the few female Israeli sculptors pioneering critical examinations of kibbutz life and challenging Israeli male myths. Over the years, her work explored cultural discourse and identity by incorporating unconventional materials and imagery drawn from her surroundings. For more, see 'About the Artist':
