Arie Azene

Arie Azene, born in 1934 in Hamburg, currently resides in Jerusalem. He has exhibited widely in Israel, Europe, and the USA, and his works are included in numerous public and private art collections. In the late 1950s, he joined the "New Horizons" group, bringing international art influences to Israel. Known for his lyrical, abstract style, Azene was also involved with the "Ten +" group during the 1960s and 1970s, which aimed to offer an alternative to traditional art institutions.
